kregexpeditor is a visual regex editor which allows the user to "draw" a regular expression. It's a lot easier for new users of regular expressions, shows regex matching on the fly, and helps you to learn real regex text as it has ASCII output of the final regular expression.
kregexpeditor is part of kdeutils so it is on most KDE3 systems already. It can be used inside other programs for input/output as programs such as krename already use this feature. I think it would be a nice addition to ktorrents RSS plugin as regex can be overwhelming to newer users. I've hunted down the needed API documentation to help include this in RSS plugin. http://developer.kde.org/documentation/ ... rface.html Thanks.. and keep up the good work! |
