proxy ip overrides client ips

Wed Apr 09, 2008 9:57 pm
I'm glad to finally be able to use socks5 proxy in ktorrent. There is a small snag though: if proxy for torrent data is enabled, its ip appears under connected clients instead of the real ones.

Could this be fixed so that the proxy's ip does not override client ips?

EDIT:
If ktorrent is fed only proxy ip, doesn't it render ip filter useless?

Yes indeed that is a problem we need to address.

No wait, we do check on the real destination IP address.

I noticed in 3.0.2 with proxy enabled, peerlist no longer displays the proxy ip but individual end-point client ips. I guess the problem has been solved. Just to let you know, your work is appreciated!
