3.1beta2 released

Mon May 19, 2008 4:19 pm
This release contains several bugfixes and a new icon set, but most importantly it adds support for windows.

There is nothing to enable, if you install it, you get the new icons.

But there is still this strange blue icon! I really prefer the old one - it's more accurate for ktorrent because you not only download but also upload. Also in ktorrent 2.2 very similar blue icon was used for download tab...

Are you using qt 4.4? I have qt 4.3.3 (and 3.3.8) here, and the current svn doesn't compile - can't find qformlayout.h.

Running on KDE 4.0.4 / QT 4.3.3 / Linux / AMD64 here.

Thanks,

Ok, I've upgraded to qt4.4 ... but now I get other compile errors ... it looks like you're on kde 4.1, perhaps? I'm using kde 4.0.5, and it doesn't want to compile here still.

Maybe after 4.1 gets into the gentoo tree, I'll try again...

I'm on KDE 4.1, but KT 3.1 should work and compile on KDE 4.0, what kind of compile errors are you getting ?

I'm actually using the svn code, not 3.1 itself.

KDE 4.1 is required for current SVN, 3.2 will drop support for KDE 4.0
