Most modern operating systems support multiple user accounts. Why should we bother with implementing something similar ?

The feature I am talking is for situation where the same login/password is shared among many users like in some office systems or even in home systems where anyone just logs on using Guest user. Hope you understand the situation.

Which is exactly what you shouldn't do, you cannot expect privacy from a shared user account, seeing that you have read and write access to that account's home directory.
