Can't find X includes

Thu Jun 05, 2008 12:43 pm
Trying to install ktorrent-3.1rc1 on suse 11.0 and get the following error;
checking for X... configure: error: Can't find X includes. Please check your installation and add the correct paths!
I also tried to install ktorrent-2.2.7 on suse 10.3 and received the same error.
Could someone please point me in the right direction on how to fix this

Install the X11 development packages (and the Qt and KDE ones, you will also need those)

Thanks George, I've installed the development libraries and am now receiving another error.
configure: error: libgmp is required to install this program
I have libgmp installed.
/usr/lib/libgmp.so.3 /usr/lib/libgmp.so.3.3.2 /usr/lib/libgmp.so.3.4.1
How can I point ./configure to it?

You also need development packages for libgmp

Thanks, I should have realised that after needing the development packages for the other dependencies.
All is good.........
