The new stable 3.1 release is out. Upgrade and report lots of bugs :-)

Does 3.1 include the RSS plugin? Just wondering before I download.

Hi, I just registered to the forums, to show my support, but most of all to express my desire to get the RSS plugin back. I'd really appreciate to see it return in KTorrent 3.x... In the mean time, I'll continue using the old 2.2.x version for now, as it's the main reason for me to use KTorrent (on my non-KDE desktop).

George does not know whether the RSS plugin will be included in 3.2 release.

It will be in 3.2 (if Alan doesn't find the time, I will finish it myself)

Great software! Thanks for this release. I just started to switch over to kde4.1 since the beta2 was tagged recently.

There is one thing I have noticed. Im using only encrypted connections and there are just small questionmark icons appearing in front of the ip's where have used to be the lock icons in ktorrent2. Is this a bug in ktorrent itself or am I missing some icons in kde?

I would also prefer the old way os displaying the speeds in the peers list. Like there is only a value for active connections with datasubmissions. And not this 0.0kbs values for every entry. So you could more easily sort out which peer actually is active.

You are right, the icon was renamed, but the code has not been modified to reflect this. I never noticed this, because I still have the old icon installed somewhere.

I will fix it later today.

Why not, will do that too

I think I have found a bug. If I change the value for the network interface in the network settings to my wifi connection and apply it is always set back to 'all interfaces' the next time I look for it.

Hi All,

Sorry for the delay. It's half done at the moment. Lots of new features in it. It's a complete rewrite from the first version.

With any luck I'll get some time soon. I did try the latest svn to get back into it a couple of days ago. Will have another look this weekend.

Cheers,

Alan.
