[crash] adding torrents

Mon Aug 04, 2008 8:20 pm
Revision: 841843

I have set up ktorrent to load automatically torrents from a dir and open them silently, but on mentioned rev. everytime a torrent is dropped into that folder, causes ktorrent to crash (no debug kde dialog is shown though).
The torrent is added normally after restart.

I can't reproduce it with 3.1.2, I will try svn later today.

Vital update: You need to close ktorrent so it moves into systray.
If you leave it open or minimized in taskbar, then the crash will not occur.

Very vital update2: crashing multiple time in a row will cause krunner to stop working! I just repeated this twice times now. Just launch ktorrent, minimize it to systray, add a torrent so it crashes - do that more than 3 times. At some point alt+f2 stops working.

You are right, I can reproduce it with the systray icon enabled.

So I have run it in gdb and you know what happens : it just exits, no crash at all, a clean shutdown :-)
