A nice addition to ktorrent would be an option to prevent/delay suspend/hibernate until downloads are completed or seeding quotas reached. Too many a time I leave my pc on at night only to find it suspended with hardly no progress in downloads.

The provisional solution I use is a power management scheme which does not suspend or hibernate. The downside is that the pc idles long after downloads have completed.

So the idea is to make ktorrent aware of powersave or its kde interface kpowersave and control it through dbus (or any other interface for that matter but I hear powersave uses dbus). A plugin could do this job.
