I'm really really liking 3.2! Here are some notes of my first impression after switching from the 2.2 branch.

The syndication plugin is super nice, but it would have been nice to have some sort of import feature like you have included for the general torrents to load in the data from KDE3.x

When defining filters, a nice feature from 2.2.x was that you could define a filter that stated "download only this" or "never download this", but instead the wording now indicates "download only this" and "download everything but this". Maybe this is just a miss wording on the UI, but I miss the "never download this" option. I also tried the (?!dontMatchThis) option, but couldn't seem to get it to work in an equivalent manner.

Another unclear setting in the filters is whether the "Download to" is used for the incomplete download, or if that's where the file is moved to once the download is completed. If it's the completed location, then that is more useful to me as I download the torrents locally then sort them and seed from my file server over NFS. I don't want to DL to the NFS server.

Even though I told it not to compile with the ipfilter plugin, I still see it in the toolbar and menu. Unless those are something different. This could also be an issue with the gentoo package, although I don't see it in the plugin list.

When sorting torrents in the Queue Manager, the Down arrow doesn't seem to work. Another nice feature would be to either have drag and drop sorting, or to at least be able to modify the value in the order column. I have over 140 torrents, and sorting them using the arrows is a bit laborious.

Thanks for the hard work.

That is on my TODO list for 3.2

That will have to wait for 3.3

We use QRegExp from Qt, and I have played around with this to, but it doesn't seem to work, like you would expect.

It is the directory where the download is started in.

This is the manual filter which is not part of the plugin.

Drag and drop works, I just tried it here. As for the down arrow, you are probably trying to move a torrent which is user controlled down, which can't be done, because user controlled torrents already have priority 0.

I know, we need to improve this a bit from a usability perspective.

ok, I verified that the drag and drop is working on mine. I must have been impatient the first time I tried and clicked too fast or something. However, the "move down one" arrow definitely doesn't work. All it seems to do is highlight the next row. the "Move To Bottom" button works as expected.

Using ktorrent beta a little longer now, I noticed something that bugs me about the new queue manager.

I place my torrents in the order I desire. It contains all the current downloads and seeds which is nice. However, when a download is moved to a seed, the queue manager throws the new seed to the end of the list after I just worked so hard to put it where I wanted it.

Would it be possible to add an option that disables all auto sorting of the queue manager? I saw options about organizing idle decreasing the priority of stalled ones, but that doesn't cover this use case.

The queue has been revamped since the beta, this behavior should be gone.
