Since some moment i've troubles building ktorrent 3.2beta because it can't create the plasma applet:

In fact i don't need the applet but i could not figure out how to disable it; could you say how to do this (disable making of plasma applet at all)?

You need an additional package installed, it's named kdebase-workspace-dev on ubuntu, should be something similar on other distros.
