I often will download items, and want to seed them indefinately. However I want to move and sort my completed downloads. When I do this, however, I can no longer seed.

What I propose is to add an item in the right-click context menu that is "Move". It would then ask where to move the torrent's files to. Those files would then move to the new location and once the move is complete, the application would continue to seed.

In that way I can very easily move files and seed them indefinitely.

Thanks!

Um, no... At least I don't see it there.

Maybe I don't have the latest. In any event, does that do all I want it to?

Ah... I have v2.2.5 which I see is an older version. I'll try the newer version... Thanks! I should have checked if I had the latest version before posting

2.2.5 should have something similar, but it is named set download location, which is a bit of a wrong name, but it does the same thing.

Ah, Thx!

Question: Can I rename the file and keep seeding it in any way? Often the naming doesn't match my own and so it's all out of order with the other files in the folder I move it to... A Prime example is a folder containing episodes of a show.

Thanks

I think it's very difficult if possible. Because name of files are located inside torrent file and if you change the name it's other file outside your torrent. But, md5 not changes for this file. Only name. And i think it's possible if you save the data what file renames and to. It's very crazy but this function resolve many problems, i think. For example, when i download a series from different torrents and have different names. And if i can rename it to look like one serial it's good. Then i can to create a torrent with a whole serial contains series downloaded from different trackers and can share this whole torrent saving seading for each series on different trackers. It's nice to create a feature request. Please vote for it when i create it.
