I have Kubuntu 8.10 and I install perfectly ktorrent from the link:
http://ktorrent.org/forum/viewtopic.php ... highlight=

But know, when I execute from command-line :
./ktorrent

It shows me the aplication but when I go to plugins, doesn't appears anyone plugin.

Could you help me?

But it doesn't works!?

Did you use

cmake -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=/usr/lib/kde4/ ..

or

cmake -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=`kde4-config --prefix` ..

?

When I use:
cmake -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=/usr/lib/kde4/ ..
The plugins doesn't appears me
When I use:
cmake -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=`kde4-config --prefix` ..
when I execute ktorrent it says me:
./ktorrent: error while loading shared libraries: libktcore.so.7: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
but whith this metod If I exucute: ./ktorrent.shell, open ktorrent but the plugins doesn't appears me

Use:
cmake -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=`kde4-config --prefix` ..

Then run sudo make install, kbuildsycoca4 and then ktorrent (not from the build directory)
