I download and seed on some trackers with registration and rating calculation, and found strange problem when kT3.2dev -- when I download something tracker counts more, then I download. When I use uTorrent tracker counts only good downloaded data and downloaded size equal size of torrents. Is it because of counting both good data with broken? If it is can you fix it?

What isn`t remembered never happened. Memory is merely a record. You just need to rewrite that record.

How much more ? The amount that gets sent to the tracker includes data of incomplete chunks, when the chunk is not OK the size of a chunk is subtracted again, so there is a possibility it is slightly off when you get bad chunks, and you announce before the subtract.

When I come home and test this again. But why kTorrent send information about incomlete chunks? What if tracker don't understand subtraction? In Log plugin window I often see something about "banned because of seeding bad chunks". Maybe tracker don't understand subtraction and count everything? Is it possible? For example: to prevent decreasing downloaded amount.

Hm... When I download small file (350 mb) tracker count everything right. Ok, just forget about it. If I found something strange again -- I write about it here.

WOW! Yesterday I download 350 Mb, but now, when I look at statistic I see... 7.5 Gb! And I think I know where is a BUG. Yesterday I add to kTorrent from uTorrent some already downloaded torrents with almost same size. I think kTorrent check this torrents and say tracker what they downloaded them. Not found on my HDD, but downloaded! Are you have a flag to mark reported to tracker chunks? Maybe you don't set it properly when user manually add already downloaded torrent from HDD.

I recheck it again and repeat bug. I download 260 Mb and add to share 130 Mb. Torrent counts 390 Mb. So, as you can see, there is a bug.

This is now fixed, it turns out the tracker stats didn't get reset after the data check.
