Tue Feb 03, 2009 10:43 pm
Hi,

It seems that when the computer is suspend to ram on resume ktorrent is lost...

I have a torrent that takes time to download, and when i s2ram the computer on resume both upload and download are empty and the torrent is stuck like that...

When i restarted ktorrent it instantly started to download...

I use mandriva 2009.1 (cooker), ktorrent3.2rc1 (same issue on beta1)

What if you start and stop the torrents ? Probably just a bunch of network connections which are long gone.

If I stop, then restart the torrent, it continue to download correctly...

May trigger a torrent restart on wakeup ?
(it should be detectable with time jump in future at least)

kde's powerdevil also sends a notification 10 seconds before suspending, might be able to hook into that and pause torrents when that happens too.

I guess we will have to figure out a way to detect when this happens and just stop all torrents.
