Encryption of KTorrent 3.2 is broken?

Tue Mar 24, 2009 10:45 pm
Hi,

I believe that the encryption of KTorrent version 3.2 is broken, while the one of version 2.2.8 still works. I enabled "Use protocol encryption" and disabled "Allow unencrypted connections". In version 3.2, I can only connect to public trackers, but not private ones. In version 2.2.8, I can connect to both public and private trackers.

I wonder what other settings that I've missed. I can only connect to trackers with encryption enabled. Please help.

Encryption is for the connections between peers, it has nothing to do with the tracker connections.

What do the trackers return ?
