Hi!
I have encountered troubles while installing ktorrent.
I have followed the instructions

tar -xvjf ktorrent-X.Y.tar.bz2
cd ktorrent-X.Y
./configure

An error occurs:

checking for X... configure: error: Can't find X includes. Please check your installation and add the correct paths!


I don't know how to fix it.

Then after entering the make command it returns

Code: Select all

make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found.  Stop.

Could you please explain me what is happening, and how to fix it in order to finish the installation of ktorrent?

You should better use an appropriate package manager for your linux distribition. Like apt for Ubuntu/debian, emerge for gentoo etc.
If you still want to build ktorrent from sources the you need to install X headers.
