set speed limit from command line

Wed Jul 15, 2009 11:47 am
Hi All,
I'm searching for a way to change ktorrent download speed limit from command line. but there doesn't seem to a way to do this with qdbus, or may I'm missing something? Parsing the web interface seems to be overcomplicated for such a simple thing.

Making the settings accessible from scripts is on my todo list, this will automatically result in the same settings being accessible via dbus.

Great, as I am setting up multiple copies of KTorrents that share our group's files. It would make administrating 8 copies of KTorrent much easier, as I already written scripts that run on each machine that keep what running torrents are running (or stop) from a list on my central server (scripts self-updating too :) , it also syncs allowed-files on a separate tracker running on each machine)

So to be able to change/control just about anything via dbus would be a great help. I could finally write that web-admin page that configures each machine or all 8 in one click :D
