Hi,
I basically want to use Ktorrent 2.2.5 on Ubuntu Desktop (KDE). I use RSS extensively with utorrent, but utorrent and WINE is not so stable, so I'm moving (hopefully) to ktorrent. The problem: There seems to be no way to add filters to specific feeds. More specifically, there seems to be no way to stop a filter from processing a feed. Every bittorrent application that I've used has this basic feature... I think ktorrent must have it, and that I'm just not seeing it. It is that basic... I have 3 feeds. In feed 'A' I want to download everything, so I put .* in the regexp box. But now let's say for feed 'B' I don't want to download everything... I just want to download everything matching 'linux'. Then in feed 'C' I want it to match only 'FreeBSD' and 'Heroes' In utorrent, deluge, azuerus and many others this is so simple. You just allocate filters to feeds. (and disallow filters to other feeds) You can see here in utorrent. You simply add a 'feed' to a filter. In that case the filter will only look at that one (or 'all' if you specify) feed: How can you do this in ktorrent? It seems that filters effect EVERY feed. I don't want this to happen. In my example, it would be a disaster if .* was matching everything in feed B and C... Is there a way to have filters only match on certain feeds? |
