I have a number of seeds with really high ratios like as high as 18. I am wondering if it would be possible to add a system of prioritizing the seed queue so that torrents with higher seed ratios have a reduced priorities so that other torrents with high leecher/seeder ratios but much lower seed ratios can have a fair shake of the stick.
I've noticed that it has been a couple of years since I posted and duly note that a feature I asked for then has been duly installed and in fact far better than I could have imagined. I also note that the stability of the program has really improved. I used to have it blow up about every second day but now I haven't had it crash at all in the five months I've been using it on my current machine. Many thanks to the developers. |

Although not a perfect solution, you could try setting 'Assured upload' speed of the torrents that have a low ratio, but would require you to manually monitor your ratios at invervals.
Also if you are using a lot of 'Assured upload' speeds; they add up and may exceed your global speed limit, not really a problem, you just don't get the assured speed you asked for. (I posted an idea to add these numbers up in the speed limits dialogue. see http://ktorrent.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=3025 but I don't think many people understood) |
