It would be great to add a RT-click "Add multiple trackers" option to the interface, which would pop-up a multi-line text box that you could paste a list of torrents into - maybe <CR> separated, or more advanced parsing. If this could be done for 1 or multi-selected torrents, it would be *really really* awesome.

I like too the option of Add multiple trackers and it is multi selected torrents. This is great feature which i like the most.
When you will add the multiple tracker then it pop-up a multi line text box where you can paste torrents links.

OK, and it's fixed.

Attached is a patch based off of ktorrent-3.3rc1 that adds a "Add Mult Trackers" button to the Trackers view of the infowidget plugin. I tested, and it works for me, but YMMV - don't yell at me if it eats your kitten or destroys your relationships...

Feedback welcome - if you find any issues with it, I'll do my best to fix them.

I have seen your patch on bugs.kde.org, will test it tomorrow. Seeing that we are in string freeze for 3.3 is too late for that release.

Yeah, I figured it would be too late for 3.3 (what, you don't want to introduce new features after releasing an RC? <grin>), but my net connectino was being flaky, so I could grab the latest svn checkout to base against - let me know if there are any forward porting issues, I'll be happy to rebase against the latest tip.

The point of string freeze is to not add new translatable strings, so that the translators have something stable to translate.
Your patch adds new translatable strings, so it can't be added

It would be very annoying for the translators to announce string freeze and then add new strings to translate, it's only done when absolutely necessary.

Could you extend this feature, and add tracker edition to Ktorrent. If you can add this feature i can finally drop Vuze, the resource hungry monster And i will be very happy with Ktorrent and KDE

The functionality has already been added, and it's in the 4.0 Beta-1 release. If you're comfortable compiling your own software, then just follow the directions at http://ktorrent.org/?q=downloads - or you can just wait for the 4.0 release to come out.

-I have kTorrent 4.0.4.
-Editing trackers is really easy!!!
-Enable the 'information widget' plugin.
-Then click on the torrents tab.
-On the bottom row select 'trackers'.
