The general idea is that it would be great if ktorrent could access calendars(through akonadi?) and use this to both auto-download torrents from rss syndication and start them and use bandwidth scaling.

For example: If I have something scheduled in Korganizer from 4-6pm, bandwidth can be set to max or cut off, or the torrents that come out at that time are automatically started.

I see it as generally beneficial to offload the scheduling feature to a more general resource that can be used and managed both inside and outside of ktorrent.
