On the KTorrent Manual it says that disabling DHT will "give you the most benefit" as far as slow connections are concerned. From this I extrapolate that it is a major bandwidth user. I was thinking that a nice feature to add (or a plugin that provides it) would be the option to only enable DHT for torrents that have under a certain number of Seeders (say 5ish) so that bandwidth only need be used for torrents that actually have need of it. If this is an incredibly stupid idea please feel free to inform me in as insulting a way as possible (it makes me smile ).
