KTorrent version 4.0beta1 is out, this release adds support for magnet URL's.
Next to the magnet support, some other smaller features were also added. Including the possiblity to add multiple trackers at the same time, the bandwidth scheduler can now be disabled temporarely and the IP filter dialog now supports IP ranges.

Next to the 4.0beta1 release there is also a new bugfix release for the 3.3 branch, this fixes two crashes.

Sorry if I missed it, but is there any sort of plan or schedule for ktorrent 4.0 release?

Having such would help distros to help to plan on what to include for their next releases... hint hint.

Not at the moment, because George does not like the paperwork so much... But maybe we can request that George makes a trac schedule site, i have no clue whether he likes that though.

I don't have a crystal ball, 4.0 entirely depends on how fast UTP support is working and stable.

is creating magnet links supported too?

The only feature I miss in Ktorrent is the ability to sort torrents by Date and favorite folders... seems pretty obvious, no?

Also a quicker way to select usual download folders would be nice.
