Hey all. Just wondering if this would be possible to implement as a couple of torrent sites I use refuse to accept the default ports of P2P/Bit Torrent software however whenever I chose an alternative the rest of my regular torrents suffer. So to try and have both work, I was hoping I could set different ports to use for each torrent.

It is possible but I have no intention of doing that. Why do your other torrents suffer when you change the port ? |

The speed on the other torrents is never as high as they are on the main P2P ones, in my experience. I'm curious as to why you won't add this option?

Ports shouldn't matter, there can only be some temporary effect due to peers still trying to use your old port. However that should not last long.
Because there is very little benefit in doing it this way. Also you have to open up more ports, which is less desirable from a security point of view. |

I guess maybe I just need to try more ports to find one that works for all of my torrents
