From my search, I am fairly certain this hasn't been addressed and I apologize if I missed it.
In 3.3.4, I have found that the global "Move completed downloads to:" option causes kTorrent to ignore the filter specific "Download to:" option in the syndication plug in. I would request that there be an option added to the global setting to only move from the default download directory, such as that found in uTorrent. Alternatively, giving the RSS filter setting higher priority, when enabled, would also fix this problem. I liked how, in uTorrent, I could sort my television shows into a subdirectory of the default download directory for easy sorting, selection, and maintenance.(Sorry if I sound like a uTorrent fanboy, but I think it's pretty rad) kTorrent, however, downloads the files to the subdirectory specified in the RSS filter, then moves the completed files to the default directory. The obvious work around being that I could just download the files to the default directory directly instead of a third directory and moving them. However, I like to keep the partial files separate from the completed files to prevent accidentally moving, deleting, or accessing the incomplete files and potentially stopping the download with an error. I also did not find this addressed in any of the version change notes since 3.3.4. Thanks |

There is now a torrent specific option for move on completion, so we could add an option to the filters which sets this option.

Rad, thanks. I just thought it odd that the filter option didn't overrule the global option.

There are two functions in ktorrent that i miss a lot, and they are:
1. The possibility to set a "Move Completed downloads to:" in each Custom Group That overrides the global "Move Completed downloads to:" setting i ktorrent Having this option in the RSS filters would be nice too. As far as I understand this is what you are looking for too serenewaffles, or have misunderstood you. 2. The scan folder plugin having individual options for each folder added to scan. The way it works now is that you have a global options for all folders in the scan list. So you cant sort torrents by adding different folders for different types of files and have them added to different Custom Groups. |
