I'm not sure if this has been asked before, but I took a brief look and didn't see anything related..
Would it be possible to have ktorrent or the rssfeed plugin to remember downloaded torrents even after they have been removed from ktorrent? Right now it seems some of my rss feeds like to go blank, or nearly blank once in a while, and when they come back, all the old shows that previously downloaded will match again, and download again. It doesn't need to ban the torrents or anything, just they shouldn't be download automatically over and over. Thanks. |

The plugin does remember which one get loaded, but once they are removed from the feed, it removes them from the loaded list. Otherwise that list would just grow and grow, and become really huge.
Of course the assumption here is that the same item never comes back, which is not the case here. I could make the expiration of items on the loaded list time based, and only remove items after a week for example. |

If it could be set in the preferences that would be helpful too.
Though I was thinking that instead of just keeping the items in the list, store the torrent url, or the "unique identifier" in a file on disk, preferably something like berkly db where fast lookups can be made. Then just check that when attempting to download a show. |

I think setting your filters to only download certain seasons/episodes and then setting it to not download duplicates should fix this. Then, to grab everything that airs, just set it to download seasons 1-100 and episodes 1-100, adjusting if you expect more than 100 seasons or episodes/season.

That doesn't work for shows like The Daily Show, or The Late Late Show. |

Is this on the road-map anywhere? This would greatly help with the duplicated downloads issue. |

I will put it on the roadmap for 4.2
