Encrypted connection

Sun Dec 19, 2010 9:58 pm
Hello,
I noticed that in order for encrypted connection to take effect, I gotta restart ktorrent.
Moreover, it seems that when I have selected both "Use encrypted connection" && "Allow unecrypted as well", even those connections that could be encrypted are not. (I do not see the lock icon for peers that have it with "use encr. conn" option checked).

[feature request] I would really appreciate an option "Seed only through encrypted connection".

I use Ktorrent 4.0.3, changelog does not say otherwise, so I guess that both hold even for the 4.0.4 version.

Thanks for a wonderful client anyway :-)

Existing connections are kept open, only new ones will use encryption.

Ok.

I took one particular torrent and from three peers one connection was encrypted. When I restarted with both options checked the same guy popped out, but this time without connection. I must admit, though, that it might be due to change of client setting on the other side...
