In preparation for the final 4.1 release, ktorrent 4.1rc1 and libktorrent 1.1rc1 are now available. It has a lot of bugfixes and improvements over the beta release. For a full list of all the fixes take a look in the ChangeLog files.

hi! as you've seen the in previuos thread, I'm pretty interested in reporting bugs about Ktorrent, but couldn't because of using kubuntu and thus an older version of Qt. I also use Arch, so I'll move the hidden folder ~/.kde4/share/apps/ktorrent to Arch's partition.
QUESTION: Besides being consistent with the location folders of each download, is there any other thing I shoud bear in mind before copying the home folder and running ktorrent? Thanks |

You might want to apply the following (small) patch in order to restore compatibility with KDE Devel Platform 4.4.x. IMHO, it would be a shame to break compatibility just because of this issue.
http://git.debian.org/?p=pkg-kde/kde-ex ... ;hb=master Also consider fixing the following typo in libktorrent: I: libktorrent3: spelling-error-in-binary ./usr/lib/libktorrent.so.3.0.0 suport support $ grep -rn 'suport' libktorrent libktorrent/src/net/socks.cpp:292: Out(SYS_CON|LOG_IMPORTANT) << "SOCKSV4 does not suport IPv6" << endl |
