Tracker send HTTP 301 (redirect), KTorrent says it's Invalid. Any chance of fixing HTTP client code in KTorrent to follow redirections of the Trackers?

Thanx.

Sorry, can't say that now, I've installed a Tracker for friend, 80 port is being used by Apache, but he needed retracker.local/announce to work and I've configured Apache to redirect /scrape and /announce URLs of tracker.example.com:80 to the tracker.example.com:2710/announce and /scrape, and one of his clients, who is using KTorrent was complaining that his client says invalid response from the tracker when connecting to retracker.local. Other torrent clients work without any problem.

I will try to readdress your questions to him, anyhow, what does mean "KIO"?

KIO is a kde library which does http (amongst other things), it would very much surprise me that KIO does not handle redirects well.

If KIO is not used for tracker announces, then ktorrent uses some code of it's own to do the announce, this had a problem with redirects, but that has been fixed for quite some time now.
