Hi,
Love KTorrent. But I was trying to create a torrent today in a folder that included a hidden directory (i.e., one that begins with a dot). I wanted that directory to be part of the torrent, but KTorrent ignored it, and there was nothing I could do short of renaming the folder. I realize including hidden files and folders isn't always desirable when creating a torrent, but sometimes it is. Perhaps there could be a checkbox option to include dot-files when creating a new torrent? I don't imagine that would be too hard to implement. |

Yes, this is not hard to implement. But why do you want to include hidden files and directories ?

In this case I wanted to send an application along with some config data, so the recipient could just drop the .folder into their home directory. But I'm sure there must be other use cases. I feel like the question isn't "Why?" but rather "Why not?"
