Hi,

I live in Belgium and I have a GB downloads limit per month (don't laugh  ). When I reach this limit, my internet service provider slows my internet connection down.

I'm using ktorrent 4.1.1 on Gentoo ~amd64.

The problem now. When I launch ktorrent, my internet connection is really slow, I can't even surf on the internet (my GB downloads limit is not reach and I don't download at the maximum bandwith limit of course). If I stop ktorrent, everything is fine.
I'll try to open ktorrent with no downloads, no seeds and see what happens but I think there is a problem with ktorrent. I'll try another torrent software to see if I have the same problem.

If I still have the problem with no downloads/no seeds and if it's fine with another torrent soft, I'll fill in a bug report.

So for the moment, I just would like to know if someone is experiencing the same problem as me (I don't remember if I modified the ktorrent settings but I don't think so).

Thanks.

In the network settings, decrease the maximum number of connection setups to 10 or something like that.
