Hello. Receiving no answer, I wrote a patch for a program that displays the total download / upload in the header of the main window, and made ​​an option in the settings. If you like this patch, I'll be only too happy to incorporate it into the mainline program.

Patch itself looks OK, but when using it, it seems to cause some additional CPU usage in kwin (it gets up to 13-15 % on my system).

I'm not sure if I should include this. The title bar of a window doesn't seem to be the best place for volatile information.
Other then being cool, what is the need for this feature ?

Well then just let it be a patch in this thread, if anyone would want, then build for self. For me personally, it is convenient.
