Scenario:
I download from some tracker, add few info files to seeding directory and make another torrent, but I want to be able to seed from the same directory with both torrents. uTorrent can do that, and I think it's fully rightful mode of operation. Really I miss that ![]() |

For me this is still the HUGE missing feature on KTorrent. I understand that 2 torrents can't write in the same directory but reading there's no issue...
One way I would see this being implemented is that torrents could share the same directory only if in read only. If one of the shared torrents is changed so that it needs to write (some files are select to download), the operation is only allowed if other torrents are stopped (and they couldn't be started until the writer finishes or it's stopped). Another way would be just give a warning, or add an option in the advanced settings in a Don't Touch This section ![]() Please, keep developing KTorrent and add this little big feature ![]() |
