Hey folks, thanks for taking the time to read this, it seems the forums around here to be quite empty. Tell if this is not the best place to post.

This is a sort of request/suggestion for Ktorrent, I've recently started using Ktorrent.
Its a very good application, powerful and plenty of customization possible.
My suggestion specifically is to enable GUI/daemon separation in the app structure, enabling light background non-obstructive daemon running, while being able to control the daemon with a GUI, locally or remotely, with seamlessly full-featured GUI.
This make sense if consider Ktorrent's ability to manage it self, make automatic downloads, schedule and such.
It very useful if consider, media centers and local file servers.

I'm taking the idea from Deluge-torrent, which as far as I know, is the only one with the GUI/daemon feature out there.
Its a very good torrent application, I've only looked to Ktorrent because of unusual low upload speeds the former has. I've asked on their forums but no response.

Still, I think this could be a nice addition to a already strong torrent app.
