Hi,
i realize this is a really n00b question to be asking, but please forgive me, as i've only just started using kubuntu. i have version 1.0, as came with kubuntu 5.10 - how to i update to 1.1? should i just wait for an update to appear in the package manager? i guess there must be a way to update manually, but i have no idea where to start. thanks for you help in advance! |

We have a kubuntu package :
http://ktorrent.pwsp.net/index.php?page=downloads I guess you can just uninstall the old one with apt-get and then use dpkg to install the new one. Even though I recently switched to kubuntu, I'm not really that familiar with apt-get & co. |

There's no official kubuntu package for version 1.1, so I guess you must install deb package provided on our website as George mentioned.
Though, I find it really bad that there are no new versions of most programs in kubuntu apt repositories. Back on SuSE I could install yesterdays amaroK via apt-get for rpm... |
