Hi all.First of all gret application.Now i use gentoo with kde 3.4.1 and ktorrent 1.1 but every time i try to start downloading something i always get that error:

error: the tracker is down

I start the same torrent with azureus and it is downloading ok.They use the same port 6881 i think.Any help?

This tracker is ****, and has a tendency to only reply every few minutes. 1.1 doesn't keep trying to reach the tracker and gives an error message, we have fixed this in the current SVN version, which keeps trying until the tracker responds.

However there doesn't seem to be anybody downloading the torrent.

Thanks for your reply.This torrent gave it to me by a friend.I download now the new gentoo release ok with 45kbp/s (the max i could) but there is a way to check if a torrent is "good"?(if it is possible ) )
