I have use ktorrent for 2 weeks. It is slow, but oke. But the last 2 days I.ve got no users, and no downloads anymore. I don't understand. I have version 1.0.

1.0 is prehistoric, please upgrade to 1.1

I have suse 9.2, and I have try to install the rpm from here, but it did'nt work. Yast ask me for many dependencys. The site I usely upload from "Guru", don't have the new version. So I have to wait till it is there also, maybey yast takes it then.

Well, the RPM in downloads section is for SuSE 9.3 but it shouldn't complain about dependencies anyway.

You could try to rebuild src.rpm from downloads or compile from source.

I'm not that technical!! I've try to install several, but it don't work. Only the old 1.0 one works.

Download .src.rpm file from downloads page (it says SuSE 9.3 src.rpm) then 'cd' to that directory and type:

rpmbuild --rebuild filename_you_downloaded.src.rpm

Then you'll have a RPM package you can install with YaST.

Or if that doesn't work, download source package from downloads page, 'cd' to that directory and type:

tar -zxvf filename_you_downloaded.tar.gz
cd ktorrent-xxx (obviously replace xxx with version number)
./configure
make
sudo make install
