Is that 10.0.1.54 your NIC? Cause it has to be forwarded to this ip adres.
Also, AFAIK it's better to take a random port between 1024 and 65534, since upto 1024 are priviliged ports. Taking a random port instead of the standard might make it harder for ISP's to recover your port and lower the bandwidth. (some ISP's do that stuff, yours might not though) Personaly i set ports for bittorrent in the 49xxx range, but this might be incorrect the faq of a specific tracker, so i always check this out first. |

Not in ktorrent i think.
The way i always checked this in rufus: the peerlist must have some clients connections remote and local initiated. In rufus there is a colum for this. Some TBsource and TBdev trackers i know report this as an error to your client. You might have to enable the logviewer plugin for being able to spot this though. When the tracker isn't configures to report such things, you can still login your account at the tracker and look in the peerlist where each client is tagged with "connectable: yes/no". PS. I personally think this connectable: yes/no information might be a good feature request for the status tab in ktorrent. |

Thanks for this information George.
Does this S also applies when UPnP is not enabled? @Stator You should better remove your passkey from the log. EDIT @Stator Your passkey is the number after key= It is bound to your account and thus to your ratio on that tracker.

Yeah. @Stator The log only shows lots of trackers not responding (that stupid one from the piratebay). You need a running torrent to verify this, you could try a torrent of a popular linux distro for a minute or so, |
