Ktorrent crashes when disk full?

Sun Jan 22, 2006 2:48 pm
Actually I think (i.e. assume) that the disk full condition caused ktorrent to lamentably crash; I found the kde crash handler this morning on the monitor. As I was aware I was low on disk space I did check that and found out that I had only 900kb left, while the ktorrent download directory has considerably grown.

After freeing about 13G I restarted ktorrent, only to be presented again with the kde crash handler. I assume a certain download was affected by the unhandled file system error, and now ktorrent crashes when trying to resume it. Can I find out which one? Was this error condition tested on ktorrent? (If any of the end-user applications should handle this gracefully, I believe it's file sharing applications)

I'm using the last release (1.??.rc2), on a 2.6.14-gentoo-r5 running on x86_64 (amd64). Unfortunately I compiled the whole system without debugging information, so I can't post a backtrace of the original crash.

Thanks. I also presume it's in 1.2 too?

(Sorry, somehow the notification mail got misplaced)
