Excuse the Newbie question, but I'm used to installing using RPM's. I'm currently running Ktorrent version 1.0 and would like to install the latest version of Ktorrent. I running SuSe 9.3. Any idea what copy of the program I need to download? All the 1.2rc2 files seems to be Kubuntu files. I can't find anything for SuSe or Linux specific.

As far as I know, there's no current SUSE package available for KTorrent, so you'll have to build it from source (I run openSUSE 10.0). Details are on the KT homepage. KT 1.2 was released a few days ago, so don't bother installing 1.2rc2.

SUSE had some official packages out pretty quickly with 1.2rc1, so maybe they allready have packages available.

Thanks for the quick replies. I'll look for packages first. I prefer to install everything through Yast if possible.

You shouldn't use 1.2rc1, that was a real buggy release.
