Help with setting-up subversion

Thu Feb 02, 2006 8:58 pm
Greetings every one from the newest member of the Forum.
I am relatively new to Linux and complitely new to Subversion. I have been trying to set it up on my Debian based machine but from the start it has been a failure. I am sure that I have all the required modules, but when it came to creating the repository I got the dreaded message
richard@KanotixBox:~$ svnadmin create /path/to/repos
svnadmin: Repository creation failed
svnadmin: Could not create top-level directory
svnadmin: Can't create directory '/path/to/repos': No such file or directory
richard@KanotixBox:~$
.
Any help will be greately appreciated.

You don't need to do that if you just want to check out KTorrent from Subversion.

Anyway, you should replace /path/to/repos with some other path.. it's only an example.
