I just downloaded and installed ktorrent 1.2 and started to download using a torrent file. The files are downloading, everything seems to work fine, but I cannot interact with the program. Mouse click and keyboard input don't work. Only minimizing the window works.

Does this happen everytime you start up ktorrent ?

First of all can you send me the log files (~/.kde/share/apps/ktorrent/log), you can find my e-mail address in the FAQ :

Secondly can you post the contents of this file :
~/.kde/share/apps/ktorrent/plugins

If you see a line with the word upnpplugin on it, delete that line and restart ktorrent.

It happens every time I use ktorrent.

I deleted the linie upnpplugin, restarted ktorrent and now it seems to run fine.

I have seen this problem before, I think it's in the KDE libraries.

I'm gonna ask around on the KDE mailing lists.

Btw, in ~/.kde/share/apps/ktorrent/ if there is a file named upnp_failure can you send it to me ? If that file exists, something is going wrong in the upnp plugin (other then the unresponsiveness), And I would like to fix that bug to, so that all UPnP routers will work.

The file existst, but is empty, so it is not very useful.
