Does the upnp plug-in actually do anything? nothing appears in it's windows and doesn't seem to make any difference if it's loaded or not?

If you are behind a router, it will try to forward the ports which need to be forwarded. If you are not behind a router, you can just unload it, you do not need it then. |

If your router is detected, it will be listed. I would check the log when you exited KT. You can also send the whole log to me. (joris@ktorrent.org) if ~/.kde/share/apps/ktorrent/ contains a file named upnp_failure, can you also send it to me. |
