When i import an already completed new torrent, download nothing and start seeding-> KTorrent thinks it has to count all the bytes which i havn't downloaded.
When updating the stats like this it would make your ratio look bad, right? That's kind of lame then, it should be the oposite. If i'am seeing something double please inform me though. |

We do not subtract the number of imported bytes from the bytes downloaded which we send to the tracker. So your share ratio might look bad.
We can change this, but would all trackers accept bytes_downloaded = 0 and bytes_uploaded > 0 ? I don't know if they would, they might see this as an attempt to cheat. |

I have to wait for an awnser, but someone else pointed to the specification Tracker HTTP/HTTPS Protocol> downloaded/uploaded.
When reading that it *should* be ok to just count 0. But lets make sure and wait for some tracker geek to share his thought. |

i have the same problem..
i want to seed new files , after i have published to a traker and have downloaded the new torrent that i get from there. using the option " File > paste url " i paste the url of the torrent at my computer and it put the torrent at the downloaded section where it downloads with very big speeds (over 4000kb/sec) and after it has downloaded all it put it at the uploading section... but this is bad for my stats at the tracker... |
