Upgrade. Problem I think?

Tue Mar 14, 2006 10:15 pm
Hi. I have just upgraded to the new version of ktorrent, but I seem to have a problem. Firstly, it said that it needed to transfer the files across which was fine, until half way through one it came up with a message saying disk full even though I had 25Gb free (the file was only like 1.3Gb) so I skipped it, the rest of it went fine and started up (looks nice and downloading quicker btw!) but the torrent that I had to skip is not there (it was 50% complete!). I'm no linux expert, so could anyone tell me if this would still be on my computer somewhere and if so, does anyone have a suggestion of where to look?

Thanks :D

I assume you were upgrading from 1.1 or earlier, in ~/.kde/share/apps/ktorrent/

Look for a directory named tor-failed or something like that, data should be in the cache subdirectory.

Hi. Thanks. I have found the failed cache for what I want, but can you tell me how to continue the download? I cannot find a torrent file. Would it pick up if I attempt downloading again? Thanks.
