i'm trying to compile from svn but i'm getting the error below?

make[3]: *** No rule to make target `../../plugins/upnp/libktupnp.la', needed by `ktupnptest'. Stop.

make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/tom/ktorrent'

Rerun make -f Makefile.cvs and configure.

If that fails post back here.

sorry for the late reply worked when i downloaded it again.
still lookin good so far.
pnp still not working correctly upnp screen is blank and says trying to find upnp devices on local network and then nothing, router is a linksys WAG354G using firmware 1.01.05

ran pnp test.

Succesfully parsed test_ps

The upnptest program is just to do some quick tests on some stuff other people provided me, I still have to make it a full upnptest program (one which does the same as KT's upnp plugin)

thanks for the reply but it still doesn't explain why it isn't working or at least that's the way it seems it's the only reason i can think of that is causing ktorrent to be significantly slower than azureus ?
i tested azureus d/l ubuntu at over 800kbps on azureus but was unable to get it above 200 on ktorrent.
