I'm using Suse 10 and I have KTorrent 1.2, but I'm having problems with it.
My download speeds are really slow. Almost never above 10 kb/s or just stalled.
Right now I'm downloading a file with Ktorrent and its only going 6kb/s, but when I download that same file with utorrent in windows XP it downloads with 290kb/s.
Why is my KTorrent downloading so slow??

And Almost all the peers are Snubbed and Choked so I think it has something to do with that. And that happends to all my torrents not just this one!

I've tried it with turning the firewall off and using the uPnP-plugin but it can't find a router (I have a speedtouch 580i btw), even put he memory usage to High, but none of these things work.

Can someone help me ???

I've installed the latest subversion (don't actually know what it does since I can't see it anywhere) and now it goes a bit faster. It now has a max of 45kb/s but it's usually around 20kb/s.
It's still is much slower that Utorrent.

Edit 3:
Now it's just stuck/stalled at 99,86% and only 24 seconds left to go even though there are 18 peers at 100%
I'm really beginning to hate this program!!!

Finally finished after restarting KTorrent, but I still think KTorrent sucks if it's always like this.

I Still Need Help To Fix This Problem !!!

The 99 % stalled bug was fixed recently. You should try current SVN to see if your router gets detected there with the UPnP plugin. Download speeds should also be better with the latest code. Also if your ports are not forwarded, this will hurt your speed because you cannot get incoming connections.

If you do not want to use the SVN version you can wait for the next beta release which will probably be released this weekend or the week after that.

I think I've already installed the SVN (subversion) , but i'll just wait for the new beta
