I posted this bug before ,tough I din`t post the log ,but here it is

http://djdarkman.pastebin.us/412

this happens after I the data has been downloaded ,ktorrent simply won`t seed

,and a torrent tracker site say`s that I`m not connectable ,wich means that I can connect to people ,but people can`t connect on me ,this bug wasn`t present in older versions ,please fix this ,this is preventing me from using ktorrent ,and I want to use it ,because I need a fast torrent client for linux.

By the way ,can`t say that it is something with my internet connection and/or firewall ,using azureus with the same port and it simply works.

Are your ports correctly forwarded, are you using the UPnP plugin ?

It enabled it but it doesn`t work ,it doesn`t detect no port.

You are behind a router ? If so run ktupnptest and see what output that generates.

Code: Select all
UPnPTestApp started up !
Trying to find UPnP devices on the local network
Sending :
M-SEARCH * HTTP/1.1
HOST: 239.255.255.250:1900
ST:urn:schemas-upnp-org:device:InternetGatewayDevice:1
MAN:"ssdp:discover"
MX:3

this is what I get ,I don`t think that I`m behind a router ,all other torrent clients work with that (22222) port.

Do you have a router at home ?

If not, you shouldn't have any problem being connectable.

No I have no router ,and as I said ,before ,all I have to do with any other torrrent client is set the port and it works ,can I give another type of log somehow ,that shows what`s happening ,when it comes to be connectable?

What do you see at the beginning of the log, is the port the same as you selected in the preference dialog ? The first line of the log should look like this :

Bound to port xxxx

Are you behind some selective firewall maybe? Maybe it blocks incoming connections only to KT?

Is it possible that the tracker is wrong about this? Do you see 'Authentication(S): ....' messages in log?

I already posted this link ,it`s a kt log on a torrent that that downloads but doesn`t seed http://djdarkman.pastebin.us/412 but there are authentification errors ,a lots of them.

Ah, I'm sorry I didn't see that.

But, your log shows this (amongst other things):
Code: Select all
Authentication(S) to 62.68.177.155 : ok

This means you have successfully accepted this incoming connection so you are connectable. Nevermind those failures it's more-less normal.

I guess this could be tracker software error or something. I've never had troubles with trackers (private mostly) showing my status connectable so far. What's the tracker if you don't mind me asking?

BTW, I'm not sure this has anything to do with your seeding problems unless we have different problems connecting to other peers...
Are you connected to any leechers when you try to seed? Also, check PeerView and see what's the status of those peers. If they have 0% completed torrent and stay like that for a while - most likely they are super-seeding this torrent thus reporting 0% downloaded (and detected as leechers by kt for the same reason) which would be a good reason why you don't upload anything.
