Well does it? if so, i keep getting invalid responce, is that ktorrent or the site's problem?

Which tracker? Some trackers have not whitelisted KTorrent.
You can probably find a more explaining error in the log file.

Check the log file for tracker error response so we'll see what's the problem.

We have made all needed changes for KT to comply with most (hopefully) private trackers and we're just waiting for the final v2.0 to be released so we can officially ask some of the private trackers to whitelist KT.

For example - OiNK allows KTorrent since v2.0beta1.

i fixed the problem, i was downloading off a site, that im a developer for

i whitelisted KTorrent, it was blocking it with a firefox fix that prevents users from cheating with ratios

just added code to allow ktorrent through, now im getting 250+kB/s

OiNK allows KTorrent now? They rock!
I really hope 2.0 will be the release that makes other trackers like i.e. bitme follow.
