i realized that i needed to get teh newest version to be able to open torrents for seeding, however, it is not working properly. i copletely removed teh old ktorrent package, and installed teh new package, but it still uses teh old versions menu and has no import plugin...

What new package did you install?

Also, always run kbuildsycoca from console if you have troubles finding your plugins.
